Prostate Cancer

Prostate Cancer Initiative
Mission: Prostate Cancer Initiative is committed to reducing prostate cancer mortality through education, early detection advocacy, patient support, research advancement, and community engagement.
"
Prostate Cancer Initiative was established to address the growing need for greater education, screening advocacy, patient support, and research collaboration surrounding prostate cancer.
As one of the most commonly diagnosed cancers among men globally, prostate cancer presents both a major healthcare challenge and an opportunity for life-saving early intervention.
Many men delay screening due to fear, stigma, misinformation, cultural beliefs, or lack of awareness.
This delay can significantly reduce treatment options and worsen outcomes.
Prostate Cancer Initiative seeks to change this narrative by normalizing prostate health conversations and encouraging proactive screening behaviors.
Support resources includes patient navigation, caregiver education, emotional support programming, survivorship resources, and treatment literacy initiatives.
Ongoing Research
Research priorities include biomarker innovation, precision medicine, treatment optimization, disparities research, survivorship quality-of-life studies, and early detection technologies.
