Hypertension

Hypertension Initiative
OmniKindred Initiative for Hypertension Prevention, Heart Health, and Cardiovascular Wellness was founded to address the widespread and often underestimated impact of hypertension, one of the most prevalent chronic conditions globally and a major contributor to cardiovascular disease, stroke, kidney failure, and premature mortality.
Hypertension is often referred to as the “silent killer” because individuals may live with dangerously elevated blood pressure for years without symptoms, unaware of the progressive damage occurring to blood vessels, organs, and cardiovascular systems. This contributes significantly to delayed diagnosis, inadequate treatment adherence, and preventable complications.
Mission & Vision
Hypertension Initiative is committed to reducing the global burden of hypertension through awareness, education, prevention, screening, treatment adherence support, and cardiovascular health advocacy. Our vision is a world in which individuals understand their cardiovascular risks, monitor their health proactively, and access the support needed to maintain healthier lives.
Screening Drive
Free hypertension checks in underserved areas
Education
Workshops promoting heart-healthy lifestyles. Programs will target workplaces, schools, community organizations, faith communities, employers, and healthcare settings. Blood pressure screenings, educational workshops, wellness initiatives, digital campaigns, and culturally tailored health materials will serve as major delivery channels
Public Awareness Strategy
Hypertension Initiative will lead broad-based campaigns educating communities on blood pressure awareness, cardiovascular risk factors, dietary influences, sodium intake, obesity prevention, physical activity, stress management, sleep health, and medication adherence.
